I Love You Mom

September 23rd 2003 was the day that absolutely altered my family. 2 A.M was the hour when my mother’s heartbeat stopped in the blink of an eye. Her chrome smile simply faded into nothing but a colorless expression. That twinkle in her eyes broke into a plain gaze. Everything that was once the life and heart of my family was now…gone. A brave soul who fought breast cancer for over eight years was finally defeated, she lost her life in losing that battle. She is in a better place now, she is in a safer place now. We miss you mom, we love you!

This piece is very close to my heart, because if there is a Heaven--she is there. She is the angel within the clouds.
