300 - The Kings Spear

With a lot of time, work, and patience I have finally created what I consider my favorite piece. Inspired by the unbelievable film by Zack Synder, 300--this painting represents the gritty, violent attitude of 300. In this piece, King Leonidas is digging his spear into a Persian. The toughest part of this whole art was getting the proportions and poses right. The bigger challenge was implementing the
sand and blood as it's part of the composition. I put alot of effort into this so please let me know what you guys think.
